• Monday 10-11.30 the very popular Baby Sensory Rhyme Time run by Mumtaz and is suitable for babies who are not yet mobile.  No need to book. 
• Story Songs and Rhymes remain 1.30-2.30 on Monday afternoon with Natasha. No need to book.

• Tuesday 10-12.00 continuing our new parenting course Mellow Growing Together, every Tuesday for the next 8 weeks (booking closed)
•   Mellow Babies & Toddlers 10-2.30 starting late April Booking now available Running every Tuesday in term time this 14 week parenting course (child must be between 6mth to 2 yrs at start of course) exploring both the practical and emotional aspects of being a parent.  Children’s group available. contact Pip for to refer a families or for further information
• After school Creative Cook Club Tuesday 3.30-4.45 for parents and their children aged between 4-10yrs (younger sibling can attend) enjoying making simple recipes and playing fun games.  families must arrive by 3.45 if taking part in the cooking part of the activities. NOT RUNNING DURING MARCH. Taking booking for April course.
• On Wednesday Invitation to Play 10-11.30 and Mellow Bumps plus to 1-2pm both these session are only for referred families)
• NEW SESSION  Wednesday 10-11.30 our new drop-in session – PLAY, SING, SAY.   A play session for parents and their preschool children with a focus on fun, language & communication.  Stories, songs, Activities, parachute games and bubbles.
• Peer Support Volunteer training course.  starting Wed 25th March 9.30-11.30am. with another course starting in the summer

The Toyhouse Centre remains closed on a Friday Remember we also have Active Physical Play @ St Hilda’s Community Centre, 18 Club Row E2 7EY  Mon-10-12 & Wed 1-3 Term time only  No Booking – Just come along.   Early Years Active Play @ Mile End Play Park, Locksley St. E14 7EJ  Mon & Wed 10-11.30 Term time only   No Booking – Just come along   Mellow Growing Together. In January – March 2026 Toyhouse will be offering a Parenting programme course over 8 weeks, held on Tuesday mornings, within The Toyhouse Centre.  There will be a maximum of 8 parents in the Adult’s group, held in the Meeting Room; whilst the babies and toddlers will be cared for in a Children’s group in the Community Room.  We will start and end the morning all together, ending with a playful shared activity. The programme draws on parents lived experiences, building trust, emotional growth and responsive caregiving.  “Growing Together” will support parents to develop and extend their positive interaction with their baby / toddler.  The programme is practical, and no particular written language skills are needed – just ability to speak and understand basic English.
