Volunteering@Toyhouse Project

Toyhouse has a strong commitment to empowering local people through volunteering our project aims to help you develop skills in a practical way.

  • If you are based Tower Hamlets and have an interest in projects that work with pre-school children and their families together.
  • Have spoken and some written English
  • Are willing to attend regular training sessions, including completing tasks that will help you build a volunteering portfolio.
  • Are willing to travel within Tower Hamlets & volunteer in settings accessed by young children together with their mums & dads.

Places are limited, if you would like to apply to join the project you will need to complete an application form and attend an informal interview. Successful applicants will need to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check before they can start in their placements. You will be able to claim an expense fee that will go towards any out of pocket costs you incur while volunteering.
