Pip Pinhorn

Pip is a qualified, experienced Social Worker specialising in areas of work with families, community work and via Group work. She’s been a Social Work Student Trainer and holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Pip lives locally and first became involved with Toyhouse as a volunteer at her local Toy Library when her children were young. As they grew she successfully applied to join the staff of Toyhouse, which was expanding as funding streams grew.

In her time with Toyhouse Pip has overseen the development of services for children with special needs, training for Toy Librarians and therapeutic support work for families who are struggling with their parenting. Pip has also been centrally involved in sourcing and securing funding to develop and extend Toyhouse services. She is currently Vice Chair of the local Voluntary Sector Children & Youth Forum and a Rep on local Strategic Partnership Boards.
